Meet & Greet: Bioinformatics Discussion and LinkedIn networking party.

Time: 6-10pm

We're trying something *new* this Saturday!

This week, we'll have a discussion about Bioinformatics and the benefits and how-to's of networking on LInkedIn.We are asking for a small donation of $5 - partly to cover the libations and nibbles, and mostly as a mini-fundraiser for BioC.

Summary: BioCurious is a hacker space that specializes in biology and microbiology.  We have all sorts of awesome equipment that you can use (with a little training), to do the most amazing things.

Come over, have a drink, see the lab, chat about timely science-related topics with other interesting people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and explore the possibilities!

Event hosted by Raymond McCauley and Kristina Hathaway.

Raymond McCauley is Co-Founder and Chief Architect for BioCurious, and Chair of the Biotechnology/Bioinformatics Track of Singularity University. Raymond is a technologist, maker, strategist, and pragmatist who loves blending technology and science to create innovation.

Kristina Hathaway is Co-Founder and COO of BioCurious.  Kristina is a strategist and consultant to the LIfe Science, Biotech and Software industries.  She speaks science, technology and start up, and spends a disproportionately large amount of her life using and networking on LinkedIn.

I was hoping to have a Bioinformatics Discussion and LinkedIn networking session. But it was just a regular Meet & Greet. Still good, but I could use a Bioinformatics Discussion and LinkedIn networking session.

Hello There. I am unable to pay using my Canadian Credit Card. Is it ok if I pay $5 at the venue? I am assuming it's okay and driving to the place to attend.
