Fwd: [entrepreneur-1737] The protest against SOPA ... it's on!

Hi All,

Some of you may know Jonathan Nelson from his Meetup, Hackers & Founders. If you don't, I'll just say that he's someone who organizes events to help people make real connections in Silicon Valley.

There's a lot of consternation in Silicon Valley about the proposed Internet regulations, and some of the big players asked Jonathan to organize a protest on their behalf. So he did!

Here is a link to the Meetup with the information.

I don't know if I can get up to SF, but he asked me to pass the info along to my connections. I'll be taking down my Etsy store for the day.

Spoke with execs / founders at Reddit, Craigslist, Wikipedia, Tumblr, Meetup, and Google's policy director...

It's on like fire.  Take a little time off of work.

Let's tell the world that we're being stopped from creating jobs and making the economy better.

See you Wednesday at noon in SF....

Bring posters, posterboard and markers for others to make their own posters.

Tell your media friends,  Black out your startup / website for a day.

Tweet: #NoSopaSF

And upboat this on Reddit / HN / Slashdot, etc...
