Announcing a new Meetup for BioCurious!

What: The Rules of Brainstorming with Srihari Yamanoor

When: Monday, September 13, 2010 7:00 PM

Where: Crossroads Cafe
699 Delancey St
San Francisco, CA 94107

Where do ideas come from? Where does innovation come from? We have all heard of brainstorming somewhere, but some of us are not sure how to get started. If you don't know the rules of the game, breathe easy, brainstorming has very few rules. This meetup will be the perfect place for you to learn the basics and free up your creativity in a session of active learning and thinking.

Join us for a workshop on brainstorming led by biotech entrepreneur Srihari Yamanoor. Followed by a brief presentation, we will engage in a group exercise and then we will suggest some topics if there is enough of a crowd to break out into smaller groups.

Brainstorming is a cheap yet priceless way of coming with multiple “out of the box” ideas that you can filter through and innovate. Come with an open attitude and keep the ideas coming. In the interest of avoiding ownership issues, the topics we will brainstorm on will be generic.

This workshop will be the first in a series of Brainstorming workshops.

Srihari is an entrepreneur and mechanical design engineer with a lot of experience in leading and participating in several brainstorming sessions that have resulted in multiple invention disclosures and patents. See his blog at http://chaaraka.blogs...
