How did you get involved in biotech?

After leaving clinical laboratory medicine, where I was managing a clinical laboratory in a hospital as a board certified MT(ASCP), I joined Beckman Instrument's biotechnology/analytical division. I was involved in selling technology to new startups and existing biotech companies. Additional experience in pharmaceutical production, formulation, drug delivery, licensing, and biomarker patterning with other companies after Beckman.

What is your connection to Wisconsin?

I have a residence in Wisconsin and my son attends college in the UW system.

I have a background in clinical lab science and many years in biotech/pharma/academic research & production with the most recent in cell & bead based assays with IntelliCyt, a company with flow based HTS technology for phenotypic screening.
