The Indian Biomedical Association (IBA) invited entrepreneurs from early phase companies with products or services in the life sciences industry the opportunity to connect, collaborate and partner with investors. Companies were invited to pitch to a group of investors on Nov 17, 2013 at an IBA event at JHU. Following the Nov 17th event, [Developing and delivering effective investor presentation for your early stage venture], four companies were chosen to pitch in front of investors on Dec 17th, 2013. The four companies are: Neuronascent, RoosterBio, LiquiLens and OTOMAGNETICS.

Each company will make a pitch of a maximum of 10 minutes which will be followed by 10 minutes of feedback from a panel of experts. Companies will cover the following in their presentations: (1) Product or service; (2) Funding desired; (3) Current team; (4) Exit strategy.

We invite you to take part in our event and learn more about what makes a great pitch, and of course, network with some really smart entrepreneurs.

Cost: Free for IBA Members, $25 for non-members, and $10 for students, Government, and Academia

For registration visit: https://indianbiomed.eventbrite.com

The Combination with SOPE proved to make a very good event. Presenters and panel were good.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
