For today’s meetup you can voluntier to give a 5-10 presentation in the format of a TED Talk on a Biotech topic of your choose. Currently we have 3 confirmed speakers, to sign up post the title of you talk on the event wall, the link is at the bottom of this email:
Dr. Salgalle; A seasoned educator who has taught courses at the National Institute of Heath on entrepreneurship and helped many scientists monetize their work beyond the lab bench will give a talk titled:
“Biotech entrepreneurship: what they don’t teach you in grad school.”
Matthew Dileo; Of the Agriculture Biotech firm, KeyGene, will give a talk about the struggles the industry is currently facing with regards to gene selection for further engineering and genotype development titled:
“Which came first, the phenotype or the genotype?”
Sudhir Rai; Will give a talk titled:
“The current applications and Impact of, industrial enzymes in biotechnology.”
