This is an all female friendship Group for ladies of all ages to socialise at a variety of events where everyone has a chance to get to know each other and hopefully develop some long lasting friendships in the process. If you are on the shy side we will try and make sure you feel at ease.
Activities will include cinema, theatre, quiz nights, meals out, coffee & cake, brunch, afternoon tea, Sunday lunch, fine dining, book club, cocktail evenings and one-off events sprinkled in throughout the calendar – all of which will provide an opportunity to form friendships.
We welcome event ideas from members. If there’s an activity you particularly enjoy, no doubt somebody is waiting for a chance to give it a go! Suggestions can be posted on the discussion board in the first instance, or emailed to the Organiser. The majority of events will take place during evenings and weekends.
We will do our best to keep the Group active and would love all members to participate. We therefore request that members attend at least one event every four months to maintain an active membership.

Please read before joining:
Annual Membership Fee: All new members are required to pay £2.50 on joining, using the Paypal link on our website (blue button, left hand column) and £2.50 each January thereafter. The annual membership fee will cover the cost of MeetUp.Com fees. Our Group is non-profit making, so after payment of fees and any outlays for the Group, any money left over will be rolled over to the following year to cover MeetUp.com fees going forward. Non-payment will result in removal from the Group.
RSVP Policy: If you RSVP YES for an event and change your mind or can no longer attend please update your RSVP to NO prior to the event so that the Event Host knows not to expect you. If you do not update your RSVP, or contact the Event Host to advise that you cannot attend, you will be marked as a 'No-Show'. Two "No-Shows" will result in removal from the Group.
Late Changes to RSVPs: Please familiarise yourself with our policy on late changes to RSVPs.
Cancellation of Events: In the unlikely event we have to cancel an event, every effort will be made to contact everyone booked on the event to attend. Our Group is internet based, so members do need to log on regularly and check our website.
Can I bring Friend(s) to Events: Where possible we will be delighted to accommodate your friends. However, in the first instance, places will be offered to fee-paying members. A guest may attend 2 events, after which they must join as a member if they wish to attend further events.
Business Networking: Work takes up so much of our lives. We created BB! as a social group for entertainment and relaxation. We do not allow members to promote their own businesses (or the business of friends) through events scheduled as part of BB!. Please do not post suggestions on the discussion forum, or ask the Organiser to schedule, any event for commercial gain. Thank you.
Membership: Membership is capped at 50 members, if you request to join when the group is full you will be placed on a waiting list until a space opens up.
Please make sure you are happy with all of the above before joining and paying any money to the Organiser. If you leave or are removed from the Group, your £2.50 will not be refunded.
