We are a meetup devoted to the discussion of psychology, psychotherapy and behavioural science. We discuss issues of social psychology, however we do address other areas of psychology. In addition, many of our discussions relate to psychotherapeutic models and experience and we encourage discussion of how psychotherapy may be used to address issues that emerge for individuals in society.
We host discussions on topics of interest and share expertise, knowledge and experience. The meetings are for anyone interested in psychology or psychotherapy be they a practitioner, student or just interested in what makes people tick. Members are welcome to suggest topics that they would like to discuss/lead to an organiser.
We expect all participants to respect that this group promotes a wide range of views and levels of prior knowledge.
Meetings are free of charge although any contributions to running costs will be welcome, but primarily buying something at the bar would be the most helpful thing you can do as this gets us the room for free.
