Peña Flamenca

Flamenco Birmingham invites Birmingham Spanish Speakers to join them on Sunday the 13th of July for their last public peña before the summer break. It is also an opportunity to say farewell to the lovely “Javier el Artista” (singer, performer and Green Room bar man) who is moving back to Spain.

What is a Peña?

A PEÑA is an informal gathering which offers opportunities for students and aficionados of flamenco, their friends and the general public to enjoy the sights and sounds of flamenco in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

What to expect at this Peña?

3.00 - Doors open.

3.30 - 4.30 Compás y Palmas workshop withMarco.

[masked] Performance:  Performance with "Marco el Canastero", Javi "El Artista", Ana Garcia & friends.

6.15 - PAELLA followed by Informal party where aficionados/as (dancer, singer or guitarist) have the opportunity to perform if they wish.

*Tickets for the Peña cost £10 in advance or at the door.

Group bookings: Complementary ticket when you book 5 or more tickets.

*Please note that the ticket price includes the Paella, the Compás y Palmas class and the professional performance.
