Let's meet at Golden Temple this time. Looks like it's going to be pretty hot on Saturday, but if the weather is nice we can discuss as a group whether we want to move to a park nearby w/ carry out. 2 April 2009 - 10:00 am CANCELLED Sorry everyone. . . it's raining pretty hard here right now, and though the forecast looks like it might be clear at noon, I've decided to be on the safe side and cancel. There are thunderstorms predicted in the afternoon, and frankly, I don't trust Birmingham weather to cooperate and clear up long enough for us to have an enjoyable picnic. 3 April 2008 Hope to see you at Bottletree tomorrow at noon! If the weather is decent, we can eat outside in the covered patio area again. Also, if we have a large group, let's try to coordinate going up to order our food in smaller groups. I think we overwhelmed them a little last time. Hi everyone~ Let's have lunch at Golden Temple this month (the one in 5 Points South, near UAB). 12 noon on Saturday, March 7th. The menu is posted in the Files section of our website. There's parking on the street as well as in a lot on the side of the restaurant (I don't believe they charge for lot parking in the afternoon). Meet out front (or just inside if it's cold) from 12:00 noon - 12:10 pm. We may have to go up and order our food in shifts if we've got a big crowd. . . don't want to overwhelm the cafe staff.
