'The European Wine Tour' - 1 Day Course
This is the perfect day for those who want to learn, explore and understand why the traditional wine producing countries of Europe are still hard to beat. As we have become so familiar with New World wines, and the promotion of sales by grape variety, many of us now don't understand the traditional labels. Great advances have been made in wine production and we will look at the superb wines produced by France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Austria amongst others. We host our event in The Private Dining Room, on the 25th floor of The Cube, with stunning views of the city and a great 3 course lunch (with wine of course!) at Marco Pierre White's. Why not join us for a fantastic way to spend a Saturday!
This is your opportunity to learn more about the producing regions, grape varieties, characteristics and variety of European wines. As we taste our way through 16 wines, interspersed with a great 3-course lunch, throughout the day we examine all the facets of European wine you need to know to rapidly increase your choice, understanding and enjoyment of wines.
A typical schedule is:
1030 Welcome drink and intro to the day
