What would be your ultimate foodie day out

A limitless budget and porter/driver to take me to the best UK food festivals and markets. Lunch of fresh mackerel or sardines on a sunny day at Porthgwidden Beach Cafe in St Ives, with dinner on the terrace at the Porthminster Beach Cafe to look forward to, with a splash about in the sea in between to work up an appetite.

Where is your favourite foodie place in Birmingham

My old favourites include Jyoti for the gorgeous masala dhosas, the Milan Sweet Centre on Stoney Lane for the best veggie samosas and Lasan for a really special Indian meal. My most exciting recent find is the African Village Restaurant in Hockley.

I love shopping for food in interesting places, cooking and eating with friends.
