We will start the ramble from the car park and make our way out through the back of the car park turning right and then up and over Laverton Hill out of Broadway. We will then walk along and over making our way down into Snowshill. (The church and village was featured in the opening scene of the film 'Bridget Jones Diary'), stopping for lunch at the Snowshill Arms. (Please indicate in advance if you require a meal here). The journey back to Broadway will be out past Snowshill Lavender heading towards Broadway Tower and then down into Broadway.
At times there have been a few muddy areas so please wear appropriate footwear.
Note: As the car park in Broadway is not free and you can only park for a max of 4 hours it would be best to park along Station Road, just outside Broadway Village and take a short walk to our meeting place.
We will be taking in, Snowshill Lavender and Broadway Tower - Approx. 8 miles
Location: Outside the Broadway Hotel
This event is shared with Birmingham IVC so if you come along you'll meet some people who are not from Meetup. Birmingham IVC is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation that exists to put on Activities for grown-ups (who aren't too grown up) in the West Midlands. It is run by the members for the members. You are very welcome to come to all the events Birmingham IVC shares with this Meetup group with no pressure or expectation that you will ever join Birmingham IVC although of course you can if you want to. Birmingham IVC does not charge for events although if there is a cost (eg go-karting or a meal) you'll obviously be expected to pay your way.
