Charity BBQ Quiz

  • May 10, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Great Quiz night. Promises to be great fun for only £2.50 per ticket. Bring your own drinks/alcohol. Prize for the winning team. We need a great IVC team/teams. Food available; bangers & burgers (let me know if you are a vegetarian). The event is to support children/young people with varying disabilities to undertake their Duke of Edinburgh, Gateway and Adventure Challenge Awards (with support.

It is being held at St Hilda's Church Hall, Abbey Road, Smethwick, B67 5NQ.

It is only £2.50 per ticket....yes..... £2.50 a ticket. It's a bring your own drinks event AND there is food available at a really reasonable cost. There you go ... cheap & cheerful, could you ask for more? Well actually there is more, it is a great fundraiser for children and young people with disabilities, so you would be doing something beneficial at the same time.

I am really looking forward to the evening and to seeing you all.

This event is shared with Birmingham IVC so if you come along you'll meet some people who are not from Meetup. Birmingham IVC is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation that exists to put on Activities for grown-ups (who aren't too grown up) in the West Midlands. It is run by the members for the members. You are very welcome to come to all the events Birmingham IVC shares with this Meetup group with no pressure or expectation that you will ever join Birmingham IVC although of course you can if you want to. Birmingham IVC does not charge for events although if there is a cost (eg go-karting or a meal) you'll obviously be expected to pay your way. We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
