Friday Badminton and Tennis

We have exclusive use (with IVC) of the excellent Sports Hall at King Edwards Girls School on Edgbaston Park Rd next to Birmingham University.
There are four Badminton courts and we split them into an expert one at one end, a beginners one at the other and intermediate in between so there's room for players of all abilities.
We have use of the Hall from 7:30 to 9:00 and play in three 20 minute sessions finishing up with one 30 minute session. 20 minute sessions are £1 a time, the 30 minute one is £1.50. We've got some Badminton rackets for borrowing on a first come first served basis.
From May to August we have two Tennis Courts which we use in 40 minute sessions for four people at £2 each.
For insurance reasons you have to take out temporary membership which lasts for 3 months and is only £5. On your first night all your sessions are free for you. Normally this would cost £4-£4.50 so the membership cost is only £1 or 50p (name and address needed).
Afterwards quite a few people go for a drink at the Selly Park Tavern nearby.
On your first night please get there about 7:15-7:20 and just say that you're from Meetup. Please RSVP so we know you're coming.
We also play on Wednesday nights, same place, same times so once you're joined up you can come to either or both.
Parking on site (except when there's a school function on).
Catch any bus from City Centre that goes down Bristol Rd (61, 62, 63 from Corporation St) and get off at the junction of Bristol Rd and Edgbaston Park Rd. About a 10-15 minute easy walk from University Station on the Cross-City line.

Hi guys, I'm new here and would like to meet new people and face new challenges. Shout if you fancy a meet or to let me know of a good night. I love music, play the sax (badly), write a bit, have made a couple of films and I'm up for a laugh and fun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
