Motorbike Track Day

Bring your motorbike along to Darley Moor near Ashbourne in Derbyshire for one of their lovely track days.

The circuit has some tricky corners and some really fast straights. Full marshal and medical cover will be available throughout the day. Auto Cycle Union Registered instructors will be on hand to help you improve your riding skills.

All riders must be over 18 years old and must hold a full DVLA Motor Cycle Licence or an ACU Road Race Licence. All machines must be road legal. All machines must have a road legal silencer, noise limit 98db, must have a speedo, and treaded tyres.

£100 full day, £55 half day, extra £5 if you don't book in advance. I've never found them full.

Includes free tea, coffee or squash from everyones favourite mum - Joyce. Sandwiches and snacks will be available during the day, for you to purchase. Petrol 4 miles away.

Spectators Welcome.

This event is shared with Birmingham IVC so if you come along you'll meet some people who are not from Meetup. Birmingham IVC is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation that exists to put on Activities for grown-ups (who aren't too grown up) in the West Midlands. It is run by the members for the members. You are very welcome to come to all the events Birmingham IVC shares with this Meetup group with no pressure or expectation that you will ever join Birmingham IVC although of course you can if you want to. Birmingham IVC does not charge for events although if there is a cost (eg go-karting or a meal) you'll obviously be expected to pay your way. You can find out more about Birmingham IVC here http://BirminghamIVC.org
