The Cycle Show - NEC Birmingham

  • September 28, 2013 · 1:00 PM

Join us at the UK's biggest cycling event this September at the NEC

After the busiest show in its twelve year history, the Cycle Show is all set to showcase hundreds of bike and accessory brands once again.

There's something for every type of cyclist - try out the latest mountain bikes on the outdoor demo track, watch the best freestyle BMX pros and trials riders in action or try out a top-of-the-range racing bike on the new premium road bike track.

Don't miss this chance to grab a sneak preview of the hottest 2014 bikes and meet some of the biggest names in cycling.

Meet at 1 pm at the entrance of Hall 11.

Adult £13.00
65+ £11.00
Young Adult - 15 -18 years (with a valid NUS) £11.00
14 years and under (with a paying adult) £1.00
Child (5 years and under) £0.00

Last year, a Cycle race took place at 5pm onwards outside the venue with Top cyclists taking part. They may do the same again.

I would suggest you use public transport to get there. Brilliant bus, rail links. Or you could cycle there!

This event is shared with Birmingham IVC so if you come along you'll meet some people who are not from Meetup. Birmingham IVC is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation that exists to put on Activities for grown-ups (who aren't too grown up) in the West Midlands. It is run by the members for the members. You are very welcome to come to all the events Birmingham IVC shares with this Meetup group with no pressure or expectation that you will ever join Birmingham IVC although of course you can if you want to. Birmingham IVC does not charge for events although if there is a cost (eg go-karting or a meal) you'll obviously be expected to pay your way. I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
