Denali National Park
Circumnavigate the world at sixteen (sans parents) via planes and trains. Crawled through the underground stream at the bottom of Graves Cave. Hiked with grizzly bears in the Alaskan tundra.
Sipsey Wilderness. Cheaha Wilderness (and points north on the Pinhoti) runs a close second.
I heard about Meetup and then searched for a local hiking group
I can easily accommodate 25+ tents with parking on the other side of the drive way. I have 2 of those fire pits and plenty of wood all over waiting to be picked up. I do not have a table to put food on outside. Do you want me to rent one? Friday night is fine as well.
That sounds great Brandon. Just let me know who I can help.
Brandon, let me know in coming weeks if you want to co-organize an AT hike this fall. I'd just throw out Nov. 16-18 as a possible weekend (that's the weekend before Thanksgiving). A little chilly. I'd love to do some hiking in Georgia, but I'm open for anything.
Hey, Brandon. Welcome to the Chattanooga Hiking Meetup! It was great meeting you and the others at the Sipsey today. What a fantastic day, and fantastic hike. I enjoyed meeting everyone as well. Your turn to make the trek out our way now. lol. We do a lot of great hikes as well. I'm sure that you'd enjoy them, and the friendly people in CHM, too. See you on the trails.
Welcome to Little River Hiking, Brandon!
Hey Brandon I just saw, I have a no-show for the Pinhoti Hike! I am sorry, but something must have happened accidently, I use the meetup app, and might have accidently pressed yes. I don't recollect. But wanted to apologize for inconvinience it might have caused! I look forward to future hikes :-)
