“Birmingham Fest” is a brand new performing arts festival celebrating the second city’s venues & arts scene. The main feature of the festival is the fringe theatre, where artists and companies from across the UK will showcase their work in an exciting two and a half week programme of events.
Birmingham has fantastic theatres and performance venues. This festival will be an exciting time for the city & its arts scene. As well as having such an eclectic programme of performances, it will also introduce companies and patrons to some of the city’s venues that they might not be familiar with.
Birmingham Fest is an independent festival, without funding, and is designed to celebrate Birmingham & the performing arts.
The first festival will run from 12-28 July 2013.
Brindley Place Outdoor Film Festival
8 - 14 July 2013.
The Brindleyplace Outdoor Film Festival will be returning to you this summer!
Following the success of last year, Brindleyplace will be hosting its second annual free outdoor film festival for one week only from 8 July. Films will be screened at 6pm on week days and at 11am and 2pm at the weekend.
This year, the family friendly festival will boast the theme of ‘Momentous Movies’ showcasing those films that you never get bored of watching, whether that’s a classic musical such as Grease, an Indiana Jones action film, a romantic comedy like Breakfast at Tiffany’s or family favourites such as ET, The Lion King or The Muppets.
