From: Birmingham S.
Sent on: Monday, April 21, 2008 8:54 PM
Announcing a new meeting for Birmingham Social Meetup Group!

What: The Jam House

When: Saturday, May 31, 8:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Who should come: Everyone who loves great music, and having fun

Why: It's a great venue, a perfect location for an excellent night out

Meeting Description: The Jam House is a unique venue in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, home to a multitude of live music acts throughout the week.
It boasts Jools Holland (no less!) as musical director.

Come and join us to watch 'The Subterraneans' in action.
This is the Jam House's most popular band, whose playlist covers Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, U2, Chilli Peppers, Queen and Bowie, to name but a few.

The Jam House is an over-21s venue, perfect for a top class night out with a more select crowd.
(Dress code is 'smart-casual', no trainers and no ripped jeans).

So come along, and bring your dancing shoes!

Entrance fees: ?5 before 10pm, ?10 after 10pm
It is advised to arrive as early as possible, as the Subterraneans is a very popular band, and long queues to get in are pretty much a certainty after 10pm.

A very small number of tickets are available in advance via the website, but otherwise the above fees apply on the door on the night.
