BitDevs DC Kickoff!

We'll be in the Auditorium of the Central Library.  Some benefits:  We'll have members who will have attended the Texas Bitcoin Expo, and the International Financial Cryptography Association conference, so we'll have discussion topics to present in addition to the current BTC development updates and project presentations. I will be posting a more detailed agenda soon. Thanks for understanding! #patienceisavirtue

Greetings Everyone! Our first meetup event is going to be awesome! We are lucky enough for Justin Dunnigan to lead our first session. Justin is the founder & organizer of the BitDevs NYC. I've been watching/listening and keeping up with his meetup agendas for the past couple months, and it's been some of the most instructional stuff I've come across. Core development announcements, Socratic style lectures, and demonstrations. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, and can help us set the tone for our Meetup. Plus he's a cool guy. Tell your techie friends to join this meetup and attend. The Bitcoin space is fertile, now is the time to come to the party. #technologist #spreadtheword #striketheroot

Hey guys, UberOffices can't accommodate both the OWASP DC chapter and the additional time we would need. Please reply below if you'd like to have the bitdevs meetup moved.

Bojan Simic of the bitcoinsecurityproject.org is speaking at UberOffices Dupont same day same time with the OWASP DC Chapter. I am speaking with their organizers to see if we can have two sessions; we are still going to have a our kickoff event, but we may change the location to have it follow Bojan's talk.

Yes, I'm already signed up for the OWASP meeting but would love to be able to see both presentations.

I would love to come but between schedules with my wife and kid I'm limited to Monday and Friday nights :/ If there is any streaming or anything posted it would help me stay in the loop. All the best!
