First Group Brew Day at Four Elements

I'm not sure what to make yet. Batch size is 5 gallons, but we could mash twice to get a full 10 if enough folks are interested. Normal deal: bring a dozen bottles, and a share will be $10, 4 shares for every 5 gallons brewed.
Possible brews:
1. Nut Brown Ale (version 2)
2. Trappist ale.
3. Cream Ale.
Vote for your choice, or I'll just pick one closer to time.

Trappist is bottled. It gives indications of being a winner. Thanks Jen for helping. Made short work of it. Those with shares let me know when you want to drop by, or come to the brew day on Feb 23rd.

Kathleen, Thanks so much for this meet-up. It's fun group, and what a great opportunity! Learning brewing from a chemist! It was so cool.

Kathleen, thanks from all of us for such a great brewing experience! I am envious of all you have accomplished with your system and look forward to more events like this one! Hopefully I will be able to learn your setup better so I can be of more help!

Does anyone want me to bring them any of the "Mystery Grain" (40L) today?

Hi Kathleen, were can I get the bottles? I'm a newbie. Thanks!

Thanks! I'm making a few empties tonight. But I'll check out the stores, too. I like the bottles with the ceramic stoppers. Looking forward to it!

How long do these events typically last? I always pick my daughter up on Sundays, but I'd love to be involved if I can fit it in!

I'll be starting early, around 10 or so. It will go 6-8 hrs, so come and go as you like.

I'm inclined to go with the Trappist. It's an all-grain version of a beer I've made twice before. I'm going to go to Northern Brewer Saturday and get stuff for it and a double batch of the Cream Ale. I'm going to try double-brewing the Cream Ale to see how that works, equipment-wise. Stay tuned!

my vote is the trappist. I could bring my setup if we wanted to do two batches. I have 5 gallon setup too.
