I heard about Bitcoin in March 2013 months ago. I became an enthusiast, and met with a lot of segments of the Bitcoin world since then. I think that BTC today is like Win 3.1 was 30 years ago. But it may become a Win7 in 5 or 10 years time.
I tried my hand as a miner, alas, I choose Butterfly Labs and not Avalon. Since then I learned that products now a better then promises of better products. I also tried the various facets of the Bitcoin world - bitmit.net, Casascious bitcoins, MtxGox, bitcoin.de, etc.
Great start, good beer. Tamás Blummer's quote was the most funny and astonishing, because it is so true: "Bitcoin is the Devil's way of teaching geeks economics." In the future I'd like to see examples, examples, examples. E.g. how to protect our passwords and wallets, how to start mining, how to choose mining hardware and programs, how to start a simple web shop...
