Satoshi Saturdays RULES…3 to 6 p.m. at 40 Broad Street!
Join Bitcoin Center NYC and Satoshi Square for an hour of trading education followed by two hours of direct sellers-to-buyers trading.
The event starts at 3 p.m. with a live presentation and Q&A on trading. The center’s guest presenter Mark Anthony covers everything from a trading floor definition of terms, to protocol inside the trading pit, to how direct sellers-to-buyers trading differs from large-scale trading such as through an electronic exchange. In addition, Bitcoin Center NYC experts will further explain how Bitcoin works and assist you in downloading an electronic wallet or paper wallet.
Following the class and Q&A, from 4 to 6 p.m., Satoshi Square members and others – including first time traders – buy and sell Bitcoins for two or more hours. You can participate with your peers or just observe and enjoy the company of like-minded people.
This event is perfect for those unable to attend our Monday night direct sellers-to-buyers trading events due to proximity, the demands of work, or because they want to have a stronger foundation in the technology before joining us on Monday night. Last week’s Satoshi Saturday drew expert and novice traders, hardware and software developers, investors, compliance attorneys, educators, students, and business owners who want to adopt Bitcoin as a payment method.
There are no gimmicks and no fees. The event is free and open to anyone, the common thread being that guests are passionate about Bitcoin or want to become better acquainted with the technology.
Bitcoin Center NYC is not an exchange or a brokerage so the person-to-person trading happens organically and spontaneously. This is education and an experience you won’t find anywhere else at zero cost and under the same roof in one event.
Event details are as follows. See you there!
