BitcoinMKE Weekly Meetup

Join us for our regularly scheduled programming on the second floor of Bad Genie. This Thursday, we'll be discussing some projects ongoing as well as upcoming. These current and future projects are all "open source." More volunteers are needed for everything. Wherever you're willing or interested, sharing your talents, connections, and resources is strongly encouraged.

The educational content development team will share the current draft of the presentation for introducing local businesses to bitcoin. We'll then open the floor for brainstorming, contributions, and early critiquing.

The website crew will give a brief tour, share what's in the works, and welcome input and discussion from the rest of the group.

The fundraising and outreach organizers will present an idea for the next community engagement campaign and its important next steps.

Our media and public relations team will propose strategies for generating some buzz around town including the potential for members of our group to make appearances at other community organizations to spread the word about bitcoin and BitcoinMKE.

We'll discuss our role in creating the best practices guides for the Bitcoin Foundation Education Committee. We'll talk about the current barriers and speed bumps pertaining to POS solutions for retail merchants interested in integrating bitcoin, and some possible workaround solutions. We'll share updates on our individual efforts to spread the bitcoin love with our friends, family, neighbors and strangers. We'll address security concerns, and answer any bitcoin newbie questions. And then, we'll go downstairs and enjoy a few cocktails and perhaps some lighter conversation :)

See you this Thursday and every Thursday at Bad Genie!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
