Matej Michalko is CEO of DECENT. The blockchain for content distribution raised $7 million during its crowd sale at the end of 2016, and plans to launch its network in the summer of 2017. Matej studied computer science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, where he worked on privacy protection for the Nokia Research Center. A Bitcoin pioneer since 2011, Matej mined coins from his laptop when it was still possible and also founded one of the industry's first Bitcoin marketing agencies.
One of the best-known developers in the industry, Jeff Garzik is the CEO of Bloq and was recently elected to the Linux Foundation Board of Directors. He is considered one of the world's experts on open source blockchain solutions for the enterprise.
Rikiya Masuda is European Branch Director for bitFlyer, a Japanese Bitcoin exchange, one of the world's largest. Rikiya previously worked for seven years in the corporate banking department of SMBC, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and its local subsidiary in China. In addition to bitFlyer's Bitcoin exchange trading services, the company is a notable international player in enterprise blockchain solutions serving 3 Japanese megabanks with its "miyabi" blockchain.
