Two days later. Give me a break i've been otherwise engaged(Arsenal were playing yesterday). I've got mixed emotions on this one. In actual fact, for me it's less about the movie more about the man who acted the main protagonist. 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, played a role not many expect him to play. The hard, macho, gangster exterior of his alter ego was left outside the studio and a floored, natural, human being took over the role of Deon the promising athlete who life was taken over by cancer. It was obvious from the physical changes he endured whilst making the movie, that he really wanted to everyone to be absorbed in the story. That's my only reason for liking this film. As for our motto of keeping Friday's upbeat, i'd say this movie didn't stick with the script so i'm only giving it a 3. Audience, you were brilliant again. Congrats to the wining quiz team with 11 out of 14 and thanks to our new voluteer meetup member Marie-Lyne who's taking our event photo's.
