Do you enjoy events featuring the richness of African American culture in all forms including plays, parties, shows, festivals, classes and more? If so this is the perfect group for you. We are dedicated to meeting new people and supporting african american events and venues particularly in Chicago and in the South Suburban area. We are seeking active members who will attend 80% of the scheduled events. We strongly discourage no shows (i.e. saying that you will attend a scheduled event but failing to show up). Anyone who commits to attending meetups but that fails to attend 2 or more events will be eliminated from the group. Come with an open mind and willingness to participate. Please feel free to share your ideas and interests. If you are ready to get this party started...Let's gooooo!
