We apoloize for the time change.  Hopefully it will not create a problem for anyone.

Please note that this is a restaurant space so we trust you will plan to have a late lunch or early dinner.

Finally, because of the late scheduling of this event, we must leave the venue at 4:30 so please be ON TIME.

The discussion was lively, thoughtful and interesting. We each had unique perspectives on the book and author, Richard Wright. I'm looking forward the next book discussion.

Great insights and I think we learned even more about each other.

We really had a nice discussion. It was deep at times and one question fostered another.

We have six particpants for the book reading. Is that enough to still have the session?

My daughter recommended a book that she felt we would all enjoy and is befitting for our group. The name of the book is "The Last Days of Ptolomy" by Walter Mosley.Perhaps we can give it a shot for our next book reading.

    Invitation from NCSU...-short version
I cannot call her to book a spot unless we have participation.

    Greetings,

My name is Carla Sarratt and I am the librarian of the African American Cultural Center at North Carolina State University. The African American Cultural Center promotes awareness of and appreciation for African American and other African descent experiences through activities and events that enhance academic excellence and strengthen cultural competence for the campus and surrounding communities.

In an effort to integrate ourselves more with the local communities, we are reaching out to area book clubs to offer our facility as a place to gather for book club meetings. Our facility accommodates 40 people comfortably at no cost to you. Carla R. Sarratt, MLS
