Black Writers Guild of America (a division of The Today Group) is a professional organization that supports African American writers of various literary backgrounds. We are an organization that provides advocacy, education and support for writers in a very competitive industry. BWGA was established as a network for creative African American literary professionals nationwide.

All BWGA events are sponsored by the East Coast Black Professionals & Entrepreneurs Network and the New York African American Chamber of Commerce also known as NYAACC.

All writers, authors, screenwriters and literary professionals are encouraged to attend our monthly literary networking mixers, book club meetings and socials and literary seminars, workshops and conferences.
