Purdue Football - Purchase Discounted Tickets by August 30

Purdue's first home football game of the year is Sept. 7th and it's also the first home game for Purdue's First Black Football Coach - Coach Darrell Hazell !!! As "The Black Professionals of Greater Lafayette" I would be thrilled if we could show up en masse and support him as he takes the Boilermakers to victory against Indiana State. He also will be hosting a 211 session aka a pep rally at approximately 2 hours and 11 minutes before kick-off in Mackey Arena. Kick-off is at 12noon but 212 degrees is the boiling point and your presence at the 211 session will energize the team before they boil/play <- I hear the pep rally is set to be a show in and of itself.

YES - we will be tailgating too :) You definitely have the option to meet up with us before hand to pre-game. Please comment below what dish/drinks you plan to bring.

To make it easier for you to attend I've been able to get us discounted tickets as a group at $25 per person ($40 value) - but you must use this link:http://bit.ly/14U0833 or visit the Purdue Athletics website at http://www.purduesports.com/ and enter the promo code BLACK under “Tickets” and “Promotions”. Hopefully I'll see you tailgating with us, otherwise I'll meet you at the game!

Free kids tickets (8th grade and below) please call Chris Forte at[masked] M-F 8am-5pm.

Hey folks! I'm in the intramural fields and it's actually closer to park and walk down third street (not stadium) - walk all the way toward McCormick but before you arrive you will see a huge Grassy lot filled with cars. I'm toward the edge near the band practice field. But up about 10-20 rows into the field away from third street, see u soon! So excited!!

Bring your own adult beverage! Bring a chair! Get there early because traffic will be crazy :) PARKING -> All university parking garages are free on game days, and the closest to the stadium is the Northwestern Avenue garage. It can be found just north of the intersection between Northwestern Avenue and Grant Street. BUT>> The closest parking garage to our tailgate location is at the corner of THIRD St. and UNIVERSITY ST. From here it is a short walk to our tailgate location - if you walk over to Martin Jischke Dr., turn right and walk up toward Stadium Ave., turn left on Stadium Ave. and continue walking up a slight hill then you'll eventually see us on the left.

I love football, so I'll be there. Let me know how I can help with tailgating.

I'm bringing my famous chocolate chip cookies to the tailgate, lol. Can someone bring a grill!? I have charcoal leftover from the cookout.
