How to be a Confident Leader - Mackworth Island

Confidence is the number one ingredient in creating a strong leader - yet many times, even the most bold Trail Blazers doubt themselves when making critical decisions for their team.  Whether you are a leader in the board room, the class room, or a leader in your community or family - this talk is for you.  If you have a team of people you are developing into leaders -bring them along - this will be a great opportunity for training, growth and development.

We will meet at the Mackworth Island Parking Lot and start our walk promptly at 6:40pm.  Parking is limited, so if you have the opportunity to car pool, please do so.  Mackworth Island is an easy 1.5 loop around a scenic island trail just 10 minutes from Portland.

If you participate on this walk, you will have the opportunity to book a private training session with me to discuss any personal thoughts and feelings you may have about becoming a more confident leader.  Email me for more information and availability.

Thanks to all the Trail Blazers who came out tonight! I think we will use the venue again, it was a nice relaxing walk, and great conversation. I look forward to seeing you next time!

Am I allowed to bring my school-aged kids to this meet-up? Otherwise I will have to see if I can arrange a babysitter.

Hi Andrea - Part of the walk will include a short 5-10 minute presentation, and a few short stops along the way on the trail to discuss group thoughts and findings. If you think your kids will stay engaged during this activity - they are welcome to come along. As you know, Mackworth is a family-friendly trail.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful evening tomorrow - remember to bring $2 for the park fee, and might want to grab some bug spray.

Would love to attend, but if I did then I'd have to bring my daughter and starting at 6:30 is a bit late for us. I think that my wife might be there this month, though.

We'd love to have you - but I understand getting the timing right is everything. Looking forward to meeting your wife :)

So does this cost money, or? I'm a little confused.

HEADS UP - I just read on the Maine State Park website that they do charge a $2 entry fee for Mackworth - so bring two bucks! Hope next week is as beautiful as today - it's amazing out there -hit some trails today!

Looking forward to meeting you on the trail! We have 26 members of this meetup - who will be joining us? This is a great topic whether you are a leader, training to be a leader, or training others how to lead. See you in two weeks!
