This group is intended to support both children and adults who are in the "blended family" structure. Workshops and retreats available for children, parents or both. This is a fee for service group and the cost is $120.00/hour/session and retreats are $600.00/two days/one night/up to 4 people (B&B). The counsellors are Steve Struthers, M.A., (C) OACCPP and Phyllis Enns, B.A., B.Sc.N. (R.N.) They have a counselling service called Rural Roots Counselling. >more info...519-369-1746
We decided to have this group as we have worked with many families who have had great success in resolving blended family issues with individual & group counselling. The purpose of the group is to develop a "tool-kit" to deal with the issues that often come with two families coming together.
Who should attend? Anyone who would benefit from individual, family or small group of extended family members who are involved with a blended family.
