What is your experience in or of cohousing, intentional community, communal living?

I lived and taught first grade at the Mount Madonna Center in the Santa Cruz mountains of California for 6 years. Mount Madonna is an intentional community based around the teachings of Ashtanga Yoga. I also lived at the Oakwood Retreat Center in Selma, IN for 3 years. It is basically the remains of a community that is now functioning as a retreat center. I have visited many different types of intentional communities including the cohousing community in Asheville, NC because I love living in community and think that cohousing is a great option! I am so happy that this is happening in Bloomington. I actually live really close to the sight and hope to visit and meet some of you soon :)

Hello - I am a momma of three. I am also a massage therapist and yoga instructor. I have lived in Bloomington for almost 2 years now.
