We're at the brainstorming and idea generation phase, so our first meeting will mostly be to do some quick introductions and find out what we can do to make the group as useful as possible to the members. At least very least, we'll figure out the meeting format and schedule.

Feel free to bring your laptop in case we run out of administrivia, and decide to do something interesting.

The venue may change based on response, if it does, I'll be sure to let you know.

I look forward to seeing you!

A friend (physics prof at BU) is looking for someone with LabView experience. Let me know if anyone has any leads.

Thanks, everyone. I enjoyed getting together this morning. Would any of the work-from-homers be interested in meeting somewhere to cowork on occasion?

Looking forward to meeting up with some new people. I don't do full time dev work yet but am looking to make a change just finishing up classes at the cube.

I'm doing a bit with Arduino and Processing (just started a course), so would really like to meet some folks interested in that side of things.

I'm looking forward to this. I understand another member has been using in Clojure and dabbling in Haskell. That's very exciting for me. I've been programming in Racket/Scheme, Scala, JavaScript, and dabbling in Haskell and F#. For decades I was mostly working in C, assembly, Lisp, Perl, ObjC, ... Brave new world!

Yes! I've been hoping for a Bloomsburg tech group :)
