FULL! Body Paint Shoot w/5 models and real snakes $20 fee

Sophia Rose (who did the last body paint session) will be back THIS SATURDAY with five models (four women, one man). The theme is snakes.. She and her group will be painting the models like snakes.. and five real snakes will be there to wrap around the models and interact when you shoot.

I'm looking for at least one photographer to bring their strobes as I won't be there this shoot. Even speed lights would be good... but if anyone wants to bring two or more strobes, that would be great for this small group shoot.

The painting will begin at 10am.. if you want to come early (anytime between 11 and 4) you can shoot the process... and the official shoot will start at 4pm and the studio is available until 8pm to shoot groups and individuals. We'll have the grey paper available and I have a second area to shoot against fabric backdrops. I'm leaving the hanging system/truss there.. with one or two backdrops.. but you're welcome to bring your own if you own one.

Fee is $20 (per person) to cover fees of space and such.. You must bring cash the day of the shoot and give to Sophia (the organizer). Will be a great opportunity to shoot a unique subject matter.

Update: Holly is bringing strobes and we'll have triggers to share.

Because we'll have snakes, we ask that the photographer are not too loud and keep the event mellow to keep them (snakes) calm. We ask that you keep your voices low.

Here are two images from last body paint shoot.. Gives you an idea of the artwork you'll see on the models. But don't forget, this shoot on Saturday will include one male model for variety :-)

Missed the last one and unfortunately will miss this one. But I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Next time I'd like to do a time-lapse video of the painting process.

My ETA is now 3pm, and I would say there is no need to lug your backdrop unless you want to, Randal should have 1 paper and 1 fabric.

I'm planning to be there 1:30 - 2pm with (3) 750 travelights, and lite links. If anyone wants to use these, feel free to come after then. It would also be great if someone could bring an extra paper backdrop (white or grey) so we could have 2 shooting stations. Randal has 1 grey paper backdrop we could use. Just my opinion, but I think that a paper backdrop would look better for this subject matter than fabric.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
