What we’re about

Damn right, we "got the Blues" and other Live Music!!!

Kansas City is the greatest for ALL live music, thanks to all the talented local musicians, great venues and the fantastic Blues Community of people who love LIVE BLUES. The Bluesiacs are very ACTIVE members in this community. We enjoy and promote our great Blues musicians and venues by attending their shows… we welcome you to join us… and yes, we post some non-Blues events from time to time.  (see important note at the bottom)

Locally: Be ready to go everywhere from Knuckleheads to BB's… from Paola's Roots Festival to Gladstone SummerFest and more. Nationally: We also take a few trips to selected festivals around the country from The IBC in Memphis and The Chicago Blues Fest to the Eureka Springs Blues Fest and the King Biscuit in the Mississippi Delta.
Are you a Bluesiac? We have great members and you will have plenty of opportunities to join our “Blues Mania” and share the music and fun with us… it's really been great so far and only gets better. Check the calendar often for our events which will be held at different venues in the KC Metro area. Yes, believe it… the Blues IS alright!!!
So join us often… sign up for events when you can… invite your friends, the more the merrier… It’s all about Great Live Music, Good Times, and Friends… remember, this is YOUR Group! Your input and ideas are vital… Help us keep the Blues alive in KC. Let us know if you have any questions. Your suggestions for events or venues are always welcome.
Hope to see you soon!

IMPORTANT:  You need to use YOUR BEST JUDGMENT regarding attendance at events during Coronavirus Pandemic. We cannot be sure about any venue's  requirements nor can we know how attendees will act with regard to masks, social distancing, etc.
• Going out to be with friends during this pandemic, there is no guarantee that folks will be practicing safe distancing or wearing masks because we often go to eating and drinking places (hard to eat with a mask on).
• We want everyone to feel safe as they attend events. If you have any cold-like symptoms, even a runny nose, you may want to stay at home until you're completely sure you are Covid-free. Also, it says in the instructions for the home Covid test… false negative tests are possible.
