"Pumpkin Day VIII" Games Day @ Mar Vista (gaming with Westside Gamers)

Play Boardgames all day with the Westside Gamers!

RSVP for "Pumpkin Day VII" (games all day) the 513th meeting of the Westside Gamers.

Saturday, October 26th (starting at 11 AM until 9 PM) at the Coffee Connection. There will be a tournament of "Blokus" open to all who want to play (the winner gets a prize of a game). FREE WITH RSVP but no outside food or drink allowed.

The "Pumpkin Day VII" Games Day is the latest Saturday event put on by the Westside Gamers (a board game group that meets on the Westside). The Westside Gamers has weekly meetings and  various game days. This is the 513th meeting of the Westside Gamers (their regular meetings are Thursday nights).

Board games (and some card games) will be played all day and well into the night. Games played will range from simple family games to Euros to rail games to wargames. Though most games will be "pick up games", there will be a mini tournament of "Blokus" which all are welcome to join.

This is a great chance to play all kinds of games that may be new to you as well as to play those longer, more complicated games as there will be time to finished them. There will be between 20 and 45 gamers there at various times of the day.  When you do RSVP please let us know when you might arrive ... you need not game the entire time.

Please bring games of your own to share, though this is not required. Kids are welcome if they are old enough to play with adults.

Sandwiches can be pre-ordered  but you need to email Robert with your request BEFORE 11 AM Friday (9/25).  See messages posted below with details of what is available.

The Coffee Connection has food and drinks available. Daily they have half a dozen or so sandwiches ordered which you can buy (made by Whole Foods and cost $6.99).  If you want to pre-order, you can do so BEFORE 11 AM Friday (email Robert) and there will be a sandwich with your name on it (you will be required to pay for it at the event ... even if you do not eat it).

SANDWICHES:

Salami, Pepperoni, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef


All of the above come with a choice of Swiss, Provolone or American Cheese and choice of White, Wheat, Jalapeno Bread OR a Ciabiatta Roll. Condiment choices are Mayo, Mustard, Pesto Sauce, Sun Dried Tomato Sauce, all available on the side. All sandwiches include lettuce and tomato, unless otherwise requested. 

WRAPS:

Tofu, Sesame Chicken, Caesar Turkey Bacon

Choice of Spinach, Wheat, or White Wrap

Note that these sandwiches have ONLY THE BASICS.  If you want things like onions or pickles ... ask to have them added; same with sauces.
