Axis VS. Allies and general board game day

(Jack) Axis & Allies is super fun. I had a blast each time we've played it, so I figured if you guys felt the same that we could play sooner than the date currently set on the calendar.

Also, I have thought of a different strategy for the Americans and would like to try it out.

I have decided to make this a general board game day since we will have the 80's room to ourselves.

USSR (PATRICK): Held out very well against massive German onslaught. Made excellent advances against Nazis early on. Took brunt of initial fighting. Eventually taken out by Germany.

NAZI GERMANY (ANDREW): Almost established "Thousand-Year Reich," watched it crumble. Did outstanding, extended his borders from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Managed to land in Brazil but was brutally crushed by the US.

JAPAN (CORY): Built massive land army. Left homeland of Japan woefully unprepared for a US invasion because he thought the US "Didn't have the balls to do it." Was taken out by the US.

UK (DEON): Established huge empire around the world. Controlled central-western Asia, all of Africa, Australia, India, the Middle East, right up to the south of Moscow province. USA (JACK): Sacked Japan in a surprise move. Built enormous (borderline absurd) submarine fleet. Started out slow but managed to grab all of eastern Asia, eastern-central Russia, and crushed the Germans in Brazil.

Game ended as Americans were swinging their massive armada from the Pacific into the Atlantic. Andrew was freaked out.

This notice is for everyone, Please be aware that Mira has a cold, so would everyone be comfortable playing over at the Revelry pub and grill on University at the same times? My Mom can watch Mira while were out.

I'm looking on the map here, and there's an unlabeled road running from Lockwood up through some territory then connecting with University. It runs all the way to Revelry, like a back entrance.

Anyone know the name of that road? If you look on the map, it runs in front of Heinrich's German Grill.

Also, is this place in the same shopping center as the WhiteHorse?

    Thanks!

it is the parking lot in the walmart plaza. its longer but you go go through more lights if you want to. Try the satellite view you will understand when you see that it runs through the parking lot like a middle road.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
