Play Games

Welcome to our regular Wednesday night board games session: 3 - 4 hours of good fun and the perfect way to break up the working week.

We play a wide variety of games. There will be some that you will have heard of and some that you may not have heard of. Some will last a whole evening, whilst others will only be a hour or so. Some are seriously strategic, but most are fairly light hearted. In short, something for everybody!

We'll be playing in groups of 3 - 6 players, so there's always plenty of choice each week. If there's a particular game that you want to play, then please suggest it in the comment's section below or else sign up if somebody has already suggested a game.

Of course, everybody and anybody is welcome to join :)

Formula D is Craigs, LOW is David's and Exodus is mine. I'll run Exodus if we need another great to happen and I cant get a spot in the first two. Just put them up so people can rsvpd. I will be running exodus next week if it doesn't played today, and Dominant Species the week after. Sadly my cloning machine is faulty. They just want to read comic books and set Monkies on fire. I should have a receipt somewhere.....

Games of mine I want to play, if enough interest.
Say Anything, 3-6 quick party game.
Resistance Avalon. 5-10 someone is evil!
    Libertalia. 2-6 pirates Aaarrgghh.
Small World + Realms. 2 to 6 area control. Can stretch to 11 if feeling crazy.
Mundus Novus 2-6 trading for set collection.
Race for the Galaxy. 2-6 compete for space points!

Games of others I'd like to play.
    Escape.
    Lords of Waterdeep.

Stick me down for anything, I don't mind. Don't know many of those games but will play anything.

I've also got Machiavelli, which has the same game system as Diplomacy (with plagues and famines added) and is set in Renaissance Italy. If ever a game had your name written on it, Iain, it's this one...

Sounds good. Game of thrones also has back stabbing, and Ian has a copy
