Play Games

Welcome to our regular Wednesday night board games session: 3 - 4 hours of good fun and the perfect way to break up the working week.

We play a wide variety of games. There will be some that you will have heard of and some that you may not have heard of. Some will last a whole evening, whilst others will only be a hour or so. Some are seriously strategic, but most are fairly light hearted. In short, something for everybody!

We'll be playing in groups of 3 - 6 players, so there's always plenty of choice each week. If there's a particular game that you want to play, then please suggest it in the comment's section below or else sign up if somebody has already suggested a game.

Of course, everybody and anybody is welcome to join :)

Hi everyone, I'm a newcomer to this group. I saw a post a while ago on boardgamegeek so I hope you don't mind me coming along. Simon Craddock has kindly given me info via BGG about the type of games you play and where you meet up.

For now I was going to leave bringing any games as I assume you'd have your own anyway. Is this OK or is it better if I provide a list of what I have just in case? Thanks in advance!

Just glad Simon didn't scare you off with his killer game choice!

I counted four newcomers this week, which was really nice to see! I'm glad new people are coming, and hope to see you all again next week. Now, to discuss what we will be playing.....

Hopefully, I'll be there this week but I start a new job this week so might be exhausted.
As ever, I'm up for anything that's being played and needs a player.

    I am going to bring less games, as I have a habit of packing too many, and making my bag too heavy. So I am only bringing ;
    Troyes,
    Shadows Over The Empire,
    Resistance Avalon,
    Saboteur,
    Ultimate Werewolf,
    Coloretto,
2:-) expansions for:-) Catan, and some other expansions just in case.
Can bring something else if there are requests....

Check the forums JJ, do you still have Eclipse for sale?

Anyone up for playing twilight struggle as I will have my new copy by then?

If anyone needs a partner for Twilight Struggle, I'm happy to play this?

I'd like to play Waterdeep or Twilight Struggle, not played either of those games before. But if they're all booked, i'm happy playing Space Cadets as a last resort.

Did anybody get any new games for Christmas? What new games are we likely to see over the coming weeks?

Lords of Waterdeep is a good game. I appear to have been very stayed compared to you lot and just got Twilight Struggle, but it looks like 2 games of that are planned already.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
