How did the first timers like the game?

good game, got a feel for all the (many) constraints in the game. am looking forward to the next one i get to play. :)
Was a great game, I think I have now a deeper understanding of the game. I will be happy to play again and for the whole 10 rounds.
As a spectator I had a great time, the game was interesting and giving out care free advice and fueling the Martel / Tyrel war was just good old fun. Looking forward to actually playing the damn thing next time :)

summary of house Greyjoy"There was a blood fued between the Martels and Tyrels in the south , none of their forces has been spotted in our borders and they were only a rumor" we had an early alliance with the Lanisters, they kept the alliance and their word but kept scheming with the Starks against us and even supported one of their attacks, they do pay their debts and I collected the debt for that support in the final round of the game,The Lanisters were devious and gave us some really bad advise covered with lots of good advices which was close to bring a disastrous defeat. we are ashamed to admit that we let the Starks become lords of the sea while we were kept near our shores. The alliance with the Baratheons gained us a few favors from the Martels who had the iron throne at the end and it helped them with concentrating forces to deal with the aggressive Stark raids on their borders. In the end House Grayjoy flourished wile gaining new salt wives from the Starks and Lanisters"

was fun :) would comment more on my game but just made one bad move after another...orders delivered, army management, territory prioritizing... you name it :)
2 redeeming graces were the solid alliance with Martel which gave me(Baratheon) a lot of earlly breathing room and encouraging Grayjoy to raid the north(which helped him much more then me in the end... i got busy with Lanister aggression.:) ).
was a good first game. learned a lot. cant wait to try and apply it next time. :) well played folks and thanks moshe for hosting.

Awesome game, great to play it again... Needed to sharpen my skills at the game, though. Never played Tyrel but I think I did rather well, even though I had a slow start with some useless battles with Martell...
Congratulations to Greyjoy (Ronnen), who managed to defeat Stark and Lannister at the same turn and grab the victory.
Congratulations to Lannister (Asaf), who managed to have a close-to-winning situation playing house Lannister. Not an easy task!
Was a great game, guys! Next time let's start earlier and we can play this through!
PS. Uploading pics. We'll do it differently this time: "Open Mic". You guys write what you think about the situations I took pictures of, and then I'll add my commentary. :)
cool, seems like i'm in after all. now, this maybe a stupid question but how spoiler heavy is the game..? beyond what was shown on the tv show so far... some character cards i probeblly dont know is understandable... but major events? wouldn't want the game to ruin one of my last watchable tv shows :)

Don't worry, there are no spoilers. It is set at the beginning of the series. We'll try to keep it spoiler free during the conversation.

That's a shame: <
I can't make it in the end, so I'm going to take myself off the wait list.

There is a game tomorrow in Rishon.

They charge for it? Daniel, how does that work? It's just one game, right?
0 · June 19, 2013
One game, the cost is 10nis (the charge goes to the great place that hosts us). We start at 20:00 so I don't think we'll have a chance to do more than one.
how can i speak with them and ask to join the game?
Just attend in the facebook, if you'd like you can call me:[masked] for directions and more specific questions. We are currently 4 players
We have two boards so if more than 6 players will arrive we can split.
I already asked on Facebook, but what about someone who didn't watch the rules or played the game before? seeings as it's only 3 hours you won't have much time to explain, no?
We're local Board Game group in Tel Aviv. Currently we play mostly A Game Of Thrones, but we're open to new games. Wanna learn a new game, and meet some interesting people? Wanna introduce new people to a game you love? And most of all - do you want to meet nice people, and have alot of fun?
We want it too :)
Feel free to RSVP and join one of the upcoming meetups.
See you soon!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
