Kito has started overlapping his video game events with the game day (in
a separate room in the common house), so if you or your kids are into
computer games, come and try it out as well!
This Saturday I am once again hosting the Great Oak Board Game day in
the dining room of the Great Oak Common House (500 Little Lake Drive -
www.gocoho.org for info & directions).
Our semi-regular schedule is the 3rd Saturday of the month, but not
always, check the calendar here: http://www.boardg...
(more info and discussion forums available as well).
Collectively the group has over 2,750 games! You can see the collection
here: http://www.boardg... post a
request to the guild and we'll try to bring it so you can play. Also
feel free to bring any games that you would like to play.
Don't feel intimidated if you don't know a game, usually whoever brought
the game will be willing to teach it, and 95% of the time there's at
least one new player to the game. We welcome players of all skill levels!
We will start at 1PM, and usually go late into the night. Drinks and
munchies are potluck style, in the evening we usually take up a
collection and order out.
In the Common House there's a kid's room, game room, and TV room, so
kids of all ages are welcome.
Please park on Little Lake Drive, and not in the Great Oak / Touchstone
parking lot. Our community doesn't have a lot of extra parking spots
available for non-residents.
Feel free to contact me [masked]) if you need more detailed
directions, or more info on the event.
Hope to see you there!
