Games Sunday @ Serangoon (GSS) 10 - Hiss Hiss!!!

IMPT: We hope that gamers who come, can be patient and welcoming to newbies, and include them in your games. Or if you prefer to play longer games, on bigger tables, with seasoned gamers, we recommend Kembangan meetup on the same weekend or the 5 hour HEW & SOG.

Official Time:
2pm to 6pm (unofficial: 1pm to 7pm)

Notes for "A Group of Gamers" : Please help to collect the games from Lynn if you can come earlier.

PLAY (MORE) GAMES, MAKE (MORE) FRIENDS!
Games Sunday @ Serangoon Public Library is now a regular meetup on the 3rd Sunday of EVEN months (bi-monthly).

Objective: Introduce games to the public as a healthy hobby for making friends and family bonding.

The Plan: Announcement will be made by librarians to encourage library goers to come into our glassroom. We, the gamers, will try to capture them and turn them into gamers. This is Games Sunday outreach where we play at highly visible and accessible places to lure public in to play with us. Come if you

- like this idea
- like making new friends
- like teaching games
- like to go shopping or library before or after games.

RSVP Limit: 35 pax , let's leave some tables for the public in the library. RSVP now!
(if you are newbie, this is a good chance for you to drop by & check out our boardgames meetup, because besides the games, you can always go shopping or borrow books. You can pretend to be the public too.)

Bring Your Own Game: Thanks for supporting! Will appreciate if you can include public in your game. Serangoon Library has a small collection of their own games, but it would be best to ensure you have something to play by bringing something on your own!

Please tell us the games you are bringing in the comments below, so that other people are less likely to bring duplicates of what will be brought!

Additional Notes: For this month, lets usher in the Chinese New Year with games that can play large bustling groups of people! The more the merrier, and make some new friends!

It was a very enjoyable and fun experience this sunday. A pity there were too little tables, else more public could have joined in.

@Jerome, many thanks on bringing Steam. Guess I need to treat you to a drink one fine day for bringing many wonderful games for the meetups you have been to. hahaha Guess we are lose 'steam' in not able to compete for first place against Dion.

@Michelle & Ouyang, thanks on London ..... it was a good game. Ahhhhh ..... you people were very gracious and helpful in teaching the family of 3 in playing Ticket to ride while we were in the midst of playing London. It was nice meeting both of you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
