OUR HISTORY:

This group is a spin-off of the meetup group Boardgames 85 at North Druid Hills Road, which meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at the Atlanta Diner.  Once gaming at the Atlanta Diner became popular, members started talking about meeting somewhere else on the off weeks.  As a result, “Boardgames at the Boulevard Diner” now meets every Saturday of each month.  

ABOUT US:

We are an eclectic group of people that enjoy a wide variety of games.  There’s usually a great selection of European games to choose from (Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Dominion...) as well as a few Traditional games (Scrabble, Sequence...), Card Games (Tichu, Skip-Bo...) and Party games (Time’s Up, Scattegories, Dixit...).   If there is a specific game you want to play, bring it by and see who’s interested.  

The group is open to everyone, so whether you’re a game enthusiast looking for a challenge with like-minded people or you’re a non-gamer who is open to learning new games and would like a casual way to meet new people, you should stop by and check us out.  

There is normally anywhere from 8 - 30 gamers at an event.   Our regular members aren’t always great at remembering to RSVP for each meetup, so if it looks like only a few people are planning to attend, please don’t let that prevent you from coming by and checking us out!  

LOCATION:

The Boulevard Diner is easy to get to and the staff is very accommodating.   Plus, it's open 24-hours on the weekends, so we don’t have to worry about finishing up before they close.   We can stay all night if we want to (and sometimes a few of us do!)   ;)
