From Thursday 1 May, we will meet from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (19h00 – 20h00).
We will continue as before to have a discussion around a Buddhist topic and a meditation session of about 30 minutes. As before, beginners are welcome.
During May, our talks will be on the Four Reminders for Sensible Living:
• The opportunity of our life
• Making mortality meaningful
• Living sensibly
• I shape my future
In the middle of this page (http://bodhicharya.org/ringu-tulku/teachings/video/) is a short video on the Four Reminders by Ringu Tulku.
Bodhicharya Diverse is under the guidance of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche.
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans Buddhist Meditation Group has been meeting since January 2004.
It is a regular event, now at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, typically with around eight people attending. Everyone is welcome.
The sessions are usually facilitated by Dirk de Klerk.
The evening usually consists of meditation sessions, with guidance and instruction, that are comfortably split in to 10 minute sessions with time for a good stretch in between.
A related topic is also introduced and discussed.
The group is made up of the participants so active engagement, questions, reflections and discussion are welcome, however, if you prefer to just sit back, listen, reflect and take it in that is also very good.
There are comfortable chairs and meditation cushions available.
We recommend a donation of £5.
The group has the guidance of the Tibetan teacher Ringu Tulku and is part of the Bodhicharya network.
