"Bodhicharya Diverse" Buddhist Meditation Group Message Board › New Teaching Topic (and time!): Four Reminders for Sensible Living
Based on some feedback, and to ensure everyone can make it, from Thursday 1 May, we will meet every week from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (and not at 6.15 as before).
We take this opportunity also to launch a new teaching cycle.
During May, our talks will be on Four Reminders for Sensible Living:
In the middle of this page (http://bodhicharya.org/ringu-tulku/teachings/video/) is a short video on the Four Reminders by Ringu Tulku.
We will continue as before to have a discussion around a Buddhist topic and a meditation session of about 30 minutes. As before, beginners are welcome.
Bodhicharya Diverse had started its life as Bodhicharya Kairos. Kairos-in-Soho was an organisation ‘for the wellbeing of the LGBT community,’ so the meditation group has always included people from the LGBT community, although not exclusively.
Everybody is welcome.
The meditation and discussion is normally lead by Dirk de Klerk, who did a four-year secluded retreat at the Samye Ling Buddhist Monastery as a monk, and has been teaching meditation ever since.
Last November, Kairos-in-Soho changed its name to ‘Centred’ and the Meeting Rooms were no more. Since then, our meditation group has been meeting happily at our great new venue, Helios.
See you there!
