In my 20's I went to the gym regularly and was in good shape. Throughout my 30's I rarely went to the gym, but I ran instead. In my 40's (hello 50 soon) I workout 5-6 days a week,consisting of weights,running,& yoga. I am now in the best shape ever!

Hi Orlando- Thank you for your note. I registered to do the 5K Pacers "Love The Run Your With" race Sunday morning at Pentagon Row to get me motivated for the Cherry Blossom 10 miler. I will try to make it next Sunday.. Have a great run!

Regretfully I haven't made any of your recent runs but hope to soon. Seems I saw your name in some recent race results- hope all's going well! I did the Alex 1/2 recently and boy was it humid..ugh. So there it is, I am a wimp in the heat and would like to RSVP for tomorrow's run, but in actuality will likely watch the dew points. Hello Orlando - I hope this message reaches you in good spirit and health!!
Question - Is it more effective to run at a comfortable pace where the runner does not stop; thus run slow enough so that a I can run three miles without stoping or is it more effective to push beyond my normal pace which will cause me to have to stop several times, as I did on Sunday? I ran tonight and I know I ran at least two miles and I did not stop once.
