In any meaningful way? Well, yes, and there are always some "choices", and no, inasmuch as we are restricted by political economy and decidophobia.
From whose perspective? I am seen as (I am told) not at all religious or authoritarian. B) I'm not big on analyses by authorities, and any 'scripture' must be scrupulous & humanistic. C) My B.S. is in geology (read "Darwin").
NO, not ever, because humans have problems with perspective(s), e.g., my "short term" might be someone else's "long term".
I am (still) a Marxist, but one must make concessions to a way-past-post-Industrial world. So that would be Leftist with some libertarianism--but not so much the Adam Smith kind.

California-bred, I like Blake (poet), believe in the primacy of human experience, viz., humanism, but I'm not an atheist.
