The Boise Trail Heads, (BTH) is here for human powered outdoor activities. These include but are not limited to hiking, backpacking, skiing, kayaking, bike riding, climbing, bouldering and just exploring the great outdoors with each other. The group size allows for all levels of experience and interest. From taking mild walks on the greenbelt and our foothills, to climbing mountains there is room for all.
We practice being ambassadors to the planet and encourage BTH members to do the same. We care for the resources, artifacts, history and cultural heritage of our lands and strive to enjoy them while protecting them for future generations. We encourage the practice of “Leave no Trace”.
On special occasions such as major holidays, we may host social events. These are exceptions to the outdoor charter of the group. At these times we encourage members that would otherwise have to spend the time alone, to join in holiday festivities with each other. We avoid posting events that are simply social gatherings as those will clutter the content of the threads and mask the outdoor events. There are other meetup groups in the area for those types of events.
